It’s your job to keep your community drug-free and healthy.

You need exciting new ways to educate kids and help them make healthier choices. In today’s distracted world, you have to hook them with lessons that stick. Medical Inflatables’ interactive Neuroscience of Addiction Program does just that.

We teach people about the dangers of drugs and alcohol with our larger-than-life inflatable organs-Mega Brain, Mega Heart and Mega Lungs-expert instruction from our engaging staff of paramedics, nurses and nurse practitioners, and creative, fun-filled games and hands-on activities.

We focus on today’s most pressing issues and substances.

Program participants see for themselves while walking through our Mega exhibits just how substances can hurt their major organs-their brain, heart and lungs. Fun, interactive games-such as students acting out what regular neuro function looks like, versus a brain on drugs-really help the lessons sink in.

We’ve developed our Neuroscience of Addiction program for middle and high school kids and have already seen great success in teaching hundreds of teens. Our Mega exhibits can facilitate partnerships and connections between kids of all ages. High school kids who’ve gone through our program might create a lesson they take to your local middle school to drive the learning home for younger kids.

But our program isn’t just for children. Our exhibits are the perfect way to teach your entire community about how to live a healthy life. They can give parents the confidence they need to speak to their children about substance abuse, including:

  • Binge Drinking
  • Vaping and Juuling
  • Marijuana
  • Opioids
  • Cocaine
  • Heroin
  • Amphetamines
  • Tobacco Use

Neuroscience of Addiction Program Options

The Neuroscience of Addiction Program (NAP) can be delivered in two ways, depending on how your organization wants to use the MEGA Brain.

Option 1: Bring NAP to Your Community With a Trained Presenter

For organizations that want a turnkey program, Medical Inflatable Exhibits can provide a trained NAP presenter to lead the educational experience.

Our presenter guides students through the MEGA Brain, explains how addiction and substance use affect the developing brain, and leads age-appropriate discussions and interactive activities.

This option is ideal for schools, prevention coalitions, health departments, and community organizations that want a professionally facilitated program without needing to train their own staff.

Option 2: Purchase a MEGA Brain and Build Your Own NAP Program

Organizations that purchase a MEGA Brain can also choose from optional NAP educational and training resources that help their own staff deliver the program.

These resources can include:

  • Train-the-Trainer Program – Training for teachers, prevention specialists, coalition staff, or other educators who will lead the program.
  • Facilitator and Presenter Materials – Guidance, talking points, and age-appropriate explanations of the neuroscience of addiction.
  • MEGA Brain Tour Guide – A structured walkthrough connecting different areas of the brain to decision-making, reward, memory, behavior, and addiction.
  • Middle School and High School Educational Materials – Content that can be adapted for different student age groups.
  • Interactive Activities – Activities that reinforce concepts such as the reward pathway, adolescent brain development, decision-making, and the effects of substance use.
  • Printable Student Resources – Worksheets, brain diagrams, discussion materials, printable brain hats, and other educational tools.
  • Activity Instructions and Supply Lists – Step-by-step instructions and recommended supplies for conducting program activities.
  • Optional Pre- and Post-Program Evaluations – Tools that can help organizations measure changes in student knowledge and support grant reporting or program evaluation.
  • Implementation Guidance – Recommendations for organizing student groups, scheduling rotations, incorporating activities, and delivering NAP in schools or community settings.

Use NAP Once—or Build It Into Your Prevention Program

Some organizations choose to bring in our trained presenter for a single event or series of events.

Others purchase the MEGA Brain and use the optional NAP training, curriculum, and educational resources to build an ongoing prevention program that their own team can deliver throughout the year.

Either way, NAP transforms the MEGA Brain into an engaging environment for helping students understand what substances can do to their brain—and why the choices they make today matter.

A Program Your Organization Can Continue Using

NAP is designed to go beyond a one-time presentation.

Our goal is to provide your organization with a repeatable, neuroscience-based prevention program that your educators and prevention professionals can continue using to engage students and communities.

Think of NAP as a complete train-the-trainer curriculum and implementation toolkit built around the MEGA Brain.
